Watching Amir Sadollah open a can of the ass whip on Jabroni Baroni.

    Loved it.

Very rough fight. Phil took alot of punishment, he was cut to ribbons. He showed a ton of heart to fight on. Sadollah looked really impressive. Very nice variety in his attacks, mixed things up well.

Phil has always shown a ton of heart! But heart without the necessary skills just gets you a bigger beating! To describe Phil as a one-trick pony would be dis-respectful of me but the speed of evolution in the skills of the UFC fighters is such that Phil, once a top contender with his style will now (Probably) be reduced to prelim fights. Even a novice like Sadollah (Who looked excellent) out-classed him and with his style, Phil has a lot more damage heading his way.

Yeah, totally agree with you. Phil's a really tough guy. Tons of heart. He's incredibly entertaining, always brings it, you can't ever fault his willingess to engage or fighting spirit. The fans respect that. He always makes for a good fight but unfortunately he's too predictable. He's just not on that level in terms of skill or any sort of variety in his game. Not sure where he goes from here? His last two defeats were pretty damaging in terms of the damage he sustained. Not to mention the other wars he's been involved in over the years, he's all action.

Phil would make a loss to Fedor exciting.

There's no way to say this without sounding insulting, but his losses are classics.

Without Baroni, MMA would be much worse off.

He isn't that bad either, he has some solid wins.

What is it about baroni? I think its the sight of someone totally gassed but fighting on. Coleman comes to mind. Its like you think this guy might die any minute.

    I can't.

He's an arrogant, roidhead ******* who hit a referee and would probably gas out from reading this thread.

Seriously, can you discuss MMA, in the MMA forum rather than corporations.

It just so happens most of the best MMA fighters to Zuffa, so if you like MMA, you will have to watch zuffa to watch the best MMA.

I understand what you mean the guy is certainley no good man but I find him entertaining. The guy is a pure moron, some of the things he says has me rolling.
