Speed is a much nicer word for it.

 

Ward is better is the better explanation.

 

Kessler was simply not prepared for what he was up against on Saturday night. Ward was the better fighter that night and would likely give Kessler fits on any day. Kessler has a very straightforward style that was exploited entirely. Can Kessler come back stronger? I believe that he can.

 

That & Ward is simply the better boxer.

 

Styles make fights

 

i was, and still am a big fan of kessler; but the best version of kessler doesnt beat ward. styles make fights, and i really believe ward is going to go on to some great things.

 

I'll admit I thought Kessler was going to beat Ward.

It was frustrating to watch that fight. Kessler just didn't get off. When things didn't go his way he didn't have a plan B. What he was doing didn't work and he kept doing it for the entire fight.

Ward pitched a perfect game. My hats off to him.

He looked better against Calzaghe even though some nutjobs on here have discredited Calzaghes win against Kessler due to Ward beating him.
