manny will retire once he gets schooled by mayweather...

i will be glad...as mannys nut-huggers are VERY annoying...

 

Not surprising news, and if he wins then he'll be leaving at exactly the right time for himself. Good for him. It's just a shame for boxing. Manny has ignited the interest of the casuals like few others in this era. He could probably continue at an extremely high level for another couple of years and his continued presence in the sport would help to partially restore boxing's luster in the minds of those that are now detached from it.

Of course, as mentioned, there really is no where else to go beyond Mayweather. A title at yet another weight would mean very little to me if it were to come via beating someone like Yuri Foreman. A Mosley bout would be fantastic, but if he's already beaten Floyd at that point then I don't see that Pac has a great deal to gain from that one.

 

i say it with a tongue in my cheek but if he does floyd he'll reach invincibility status of robinson, leonard, duran etc By that I mean the only people who can beat them is each other. They are in their own league prime for prime.

 

the yuri foreman fight got me interested. i think manny could beat him!

roach and manny want this fight. floyd needs to make the fight happen.

50-50 with 10 going to the winner. manny and cotto just did 1.25mil. manny can sell. i can understand floyd wanting to push for a slight edge cos of his ppv numbers BUT these guys need to understand the money they make together is UNREAL.
