For me...I Think Victor Ortiz will be a Star!!!!

    Thats Right...I said it!!!

I am hoping that he gets the proper training. This kid can FLAT-OUT BOX!!!

But his team his trying to turn him into a MEXICAN BRAWLER!!! That kinda' style will RUIN HIM!!!

    REMEMBER FERNANDO VARGAS!!!

the kid is missing something, a combination of heart and straight out aggression... also, he is kinda caught between divisions - i think he struggles to make 140 but is too small for 147

Chad Dawson is my pick outside of PBF he has the best skills in the game.
Another fighter was Calzaghe got bashed too much for slapping but the guy was the truth.

Maidana is an extremely dangerous fighter with a KO ratio at over 90%. Just cuz he was an unknown don't make him any less dangerous. Ortiz-Maidana was an amazing fight. Very active. Very violent. Lots of knock-downs and lots of back and forth action. What more can a boxing fan want from a fight?

People get so caught up in bashing the losers or trying to take away from the achievements of the winners that they forget to appreciate a nice war when they see one. In that regard, both Ortiz and Maidana should be commended for having us glued to our seats as long as that one lasted.

I would love to see Ortiz climb the ranks again and Maidana and Valero would be an unbelievable brawl.
