Pelea en dos divisiones en welter y medio Jr. basically this states that the fight was to be on the undercard and it fell through. I don't believe it as Arum would not allow Jr. to be exposed for chump change. I doubt this is true... but this came straight from Canelo's blog.
looks like their paths are about to meet. I've seen Jr. take some solid shots, he took'em well. he has been getting hit quite a bit so I know Canelo can tag him. I've just never really seen Alvarez chin checked.
if JCC JR and Canel face each other lets say .. mmm at 151 Lbs catchweight .... what would be your predictions??? its a tough one mmm i like Canelo 9 RD Ko
Chavez is such an average fighter and I dont see him getting any better, where as Canelo has plenty of potential to become an elite fighter. At this point in their careers its probably 50/50 but if i had to make a pick then Canelo.
Bull****... Bobby would never let Canelo touch his precious stone, it'd be Carmageddon over the poor cash cow. Unless Top Rank signs Canelo obviously, but that'd mean a whole year of double-headers leading up to a low-key PPV fight. My guess reading the Richard Schaefer "Alvarez-Mayweather plans" (lol) that Golden Boy is going to snatch him, so expect Bob Arum, the Harvard Law Graduate to issue a restricting order against Alvarez - he only has to change the names of the other one he issued against Arthur Abraham.
Canelo said he wants nothing to do with Chavez Jr. and instead says hw would love to fight Floyd or Pac.
