was it becus of the "slave contracts" or becus Valuev was an easy way of becoming the "Heavyweight champion of the world" & less confident of beating Vitali ?

basically...was it a BUSINESS sence or was it a BALLS'less sence.

    Leverage.

He knows he will lose to each, but with a belt on the negotiating table he'll be able to leverage it for more money.

There was a huge chance Haye lost the fight with either Klit, if that happened his name would get lost in the division...at least now he's racking up experience in the HW division to better his chances of winning, and if he loses he still racked up a decent resume

Wladimir has 47 KO's in 53 fights at HW. Haye has 24 pro fights, three at HW and his title fights agianst Valuev not anymore impressive than Chagaev's win over Valuev, the same Chagaev who was outclassed on the day Haye was supposed to be in the ring with Wlad

And you call the Klitschko fans nuthuggers?

Setanta money fell through and he feigned injury as he didn't want to admit he'd lost that money. That's my theory, it seems the most likely.

He can get a far better deal from the Klitschkos now with a title to offer.

This shows Haye is a liar.

He offers the stadion at London, he pulls out. Wlad offers Schalke Arena with 61.000 people, Haye pulls out.

At the moment Haye is not a worthy Challenger.

He fights Valuev and now he is the slave from King and Sauerland

i regret the options of the poll...but i cant edit now...

A - Vitali Klitschkos wouldve knocked him out & ended the Haye story + Valuev was easier!

B - Klitschkos were robbing him! + Valuev was easier!

C - he wanted to test himself against the Tougher Bigger Giant Nicolai Valuev!

if a moderator can edit to that ^ would be good thanks.
LoL...either way u look at it & theres no question about it...Valuev was Easier!

None of these answers are correct IMO. Haye had an issue with his promotion company and a slight injury that was the icing. Valuev was easier AND the Klitschkos were robbing him. He's going to have more bargaining power at this point.

    Jisi,
Please don't kill yourself when Haye sparks Wlad.
