Why did Ward refuse to fight in the tournament unless

There's trying to make a fight, and then theres being one dimensional and dumb. He can't expect everyone to go toe to toe with him. He needs to learn to adapt to the individuals that are in front of him!

 

But hey, that ***** still should have won the fight. Keep in mind that was the first 12 round fight and the first championship fight he had been in...against the best opponent he has ever faced as well. And as you said, he showed signs of greatness. He just needs to stand and fight more...because when he did, he won clearly.

I thought he just won, but then you take into account the negativity and it's tough to take a belt away like that. I think in the long run, that loss may be a good thing for Dirrell, as long as he has learnt a lesson from it.

Abraham is gonna be TOUGH for him!!! His promoters haven't looked after him too well in my opinion.

 

Based on his pre fight comments that i remember at the Ward/Kessler fight, I don't think so. He's got all the tools, but needs to apply them properly. I think he could end up giving Ward a lot of trouble in rd3, but Abraham will probably be a worse fight than Froch for him.

 

Surely when they planed the tournament, they all understood, that to secure the super six, everybody had to make some compromise. But now, after the first fights, the negotiations should be very difficult, if there isn't any rules to follow...........

 

I agree there are a lot of euro haters on here, and the Klitckhos are massively underrated! That does wind me up a lot because i sometimes wonder if it's down to the colour of their skin which is a crazy thing i know.

But you my friend, do seem to hate on all black boxers!

 

Farmboxer has spread the word, and thankfully it got back to Ward. Now Ward can rest assured that his headbutts will go unwarned and will count as legal blows. He was in the gym the other day working the speed bag with repeated headbutts. He is definitely on his way to great things.
