Hopkins is the hungrier of the two. He will be very determined to beat Jones and I expect him to do such.

When Hopkins was a middlweight he was my favorite. He testified against certain powers-that-be in boxing, which took balls. I was laughed at when I picked Hopkins to stop Tito.

This fight will have all that buildup, and end up being a painfully, painfully boring fight. Two reluctant to be hit counter-punchers? Don't expect fireworks. This fight will be like watching clothes dry.

It doesn't ... Hopkins fights like he's still in his prime(if not better). Jones, sadly, is worn and is not even in the same league.

I don't even think Jones would accept this fight if given to him. Any thoughts?

Hopkins gets thoroughly outboxed, then spends weeks doing interviews claiming he was robbed.

I see RJJ beating BHOP by TKO.

Hopkins has been fighting dangerous guys while Jones has been beating up bums and losing badly to Joe Calzaghe. I've got hopkins to win, he's the only one of the two that still has a legit claim to being world class.

This is a tricky one for B-Hop. RJJ has looked better recently and might have some badly needed confidence back. I'm thinking a close decision for B-Hop, but I doubt he'll look good doing it. If Jones pulled off an 8-4 type result I'd have to laugh pretty hard though. We'd have the mother of all triangle theory examples when comparing with the Calzaghe bouts.

The first fight was just that. i think that Jones at this stage has more to prove though than hopkins. i know that hopkins wants to avenge his loss, but I think Jones is still trying to avenge his knock out losses to Tarver and johnson.

Should be a much more entertaining fight than the first one.

He does suffer from Pernell syndrome sometimes, doesn't he?

Assuming nobody has picked up the mantle of the now defunct Balco, Bernard beats RJJ silly. Hop is fundamentally head and shoulders above Jones, who depended on enriched athleticism instead of technical skill.
