Did McCall really have a "breakdown" or was he just frustrated (or just a bum) ?

As far as I know cocaine stays in your system for 24 hours on a urine test. That could very well be the reason he was breaking down in the ring. Part of his withdrawls maybe. Either way that would probably be the least of Kings worries, considering the monumental fixes hes put on fights.

I'm not talking about King. What I was asking was whether or not it's speculation he had drugs in his system or was it verified that he did?

He was definitely 100% tested, but it could have been his brothers urine for all we know. Im sure if he tested positive it would have come out publicly. Im pretty sure Mcall did in fact admit to using crack shortly before the fight. Interestingly enough ole Ollie was in the gym yesterday sparring with Shannon Briggs. Briggs is getting ready for comeback.

It just says something about how bad the division is that these old-ass fighters that were lower half of the top 10 at their peak are making comebacks in their late 30's and during their 40's.

Briggs might make a few noises, but he ain't getting near the title picture, IMO. McCall, I have no idea, haven't seen his fights since the Gomez loss - but with his chin he will always be a live dog against pretty much anyone :-(

You might be suprised. He lost a bunch of weight, and was in Europe, but he aint telling anyone whats going on. Ive told Emanuel Steward to put Wlad in with Briggs if he wants to make people watch him, so maybe he listend to me?:p

The fact that he lost to a fighter as bad as Ibragimov doesn't encourage me..... but with a quick look at Boxrec it says he was 270+

If he can get down to below 240 he might do something. Always liked Briggs actually, even though he was never all that great - better than shitty Valuev and Chagaev

And my whole point in the other thread is that Lewis did fall for stupid tricks and did not know how to approach the first Rahman fight correctly.

if he was using or was in withdrawal he was in no shape mentally to be fighting, ive work with with people in withdrawal and its hard to just maintain a normal life. to be in a big boxing heavywieght fight would push anyone over the edge.

Briggs is a sorry bi#ch always try to call it a comeback when they run out of bread. Guess all the
    hookers and lawyers get expensive.
A comeback from what the couch?
Boy can't even breathe always blaming his loss on something.
If you can't breathe maybe play golf.

9 out of 10 New York doctors strongly recommend against it.
