Dose Mayweather have fans?

They don't have to travel all over the world to see him - he fights in the US. Hatton's fans will be able to watch all of his fights in the cozy UK like the good old days after December.

 

No, because's he's a total ******* to everyone in the business, and the majority of boxing fans don't like people who are assholes to them.

Add in the "gangster" facade and you have a guy who's really hard to like.

 

Well, he's a black dude from Grand Rapids. I think it goes without saying there wouldn't be a parade for him there, it's pretty common sense - it's not like Floyd is representing Grand Rapids.

Pavlik's a white dude from Youngstown.

 

No, but I'm not sure he really gives a ****, either. He knows he's better than Hatton and everybody else he fights. Some guys are heels and some are faces, Million Dollar Man. Floyd knows he's a heel.

 

Those fans aren't going to save Hatton from the beating he will be getting. Having a groupie following is all good and well, but they won't be in the ring fighting.

 

i'm not a fan of mayweather because although i think he has amazing talent, i think his skills are overestimated .

but, even as a non-fan, its not even a question that Mayweather is the biggest PPV draw in boxing, apart from ODLH

I think the thread starter just wanted to know if there are die hard Floyd fans here. I did not see anyone replying to that query yet. It might be safe to say that there are just a few die hard Floyd fans in this forum.

 

I don't know why everyone is calling Floyd an *******. They only people I've really seen him be mean to where guys he was about to fight. He's very accesable to the media and the fans and never has anything bad to say about them(except Merchant, he had it coming). I've seen plenty of chat sessions where fans try to bait him and he never has a negative response. He has had nothing but good things to say about English fans.

His fans treat there stars with different respects. I have never chanted anybodies ****ing name whether it be a home team or etc. We dont do that ****, it is damned near gay in boxing. We talk about Floyd in the barbershops and in any boxing or sports conversation. We damned for sure buy ppvs and have fight parties locally whenever like guys like him Bhop, Winky etc fight. He has a different fan base as does Zab Judah etc. It does not seem like it for those ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN. But go in to an inner city boxing gym and see who the young guys imitate or look up too. It aint no damned Hatton or Pavlik.
