It wasn't good from Frankie but you almost infer that you expect a boxer to do something the average guy on here wouldn't. If anybody on here insulted your charcter over a keyboard you wouldn't be best pleased. I think we've all had our run ins. Unless we're all lacking character it doesn't mean anything except we don't like being insulted on a personal level by people that don't even know us.

At the end of the day we need to keep people in the sport on here and insulting them isn't the best way to go about it; thats my main concern.

 

These ain't got a clue Tony... Just haters having a tag match trying to get a rise out of fighters and punters at the same time...

They can't back up what they say and don't have the skills to be able to perform at the highest level in amateur or pro boxing...

We are fortunate to have positive pro fighters who post on here... Don't let these numpties detract you and Frankie from posting on here mate...:good

 

Do you know the facts about him missing the weight?
He begged to step up but they wouldn't have it he told them he couldn't make it so they made him suck wine gums instead of eating! so learn the facts frankie needed to eat, if he made weight he probably would of been stopped because he was so weak! and believe me he has the character to stick it out when it gets tough and about frankie not being able to punch since turning pro he has shown he can punch a bit maybe not like bellew but enough to gain respect besides he has the skills to go all the way look at pernell whitaker, and with the training arnie puts them through its gonna take something special to stop him!

 

And what do the rest of us give up? Someone elses time?

 

If someone said that about me my reply would be something like this "" and nothing more. You don't have to be a pro boxer to have class (that's why I reference Buncey btw). I understand it's cool to have Frankie here but not if he is just gonna post to haters with that kinda thing, no need, no point and it'll only make Frankie look bad in the end cause nobody will remember nultys name after they click close thread.

The best course of action, as I said before is to not rise to it...any of us. If he had a legit boxing reason for thinking Gavin is bad then it's worth addressing...like me saying James is 10 times the boxer he is

 

It's great for everyone to use this forum to voice their opinions about fighters and the sport, it's just a shame when it's abused by people to spout unjustified rubbish about a certain fighter. Calling someone a bully and lacking character isn't just something you can shout out - you've gotta have something to back that up with!

To be fair to Frankie, he posts on here fairly regularly and that's the first time I've read him react to a post like that. Maybe he did it in the heat of the moment. I'm wondering how many of us would react calmly to having your character and personality slaughtered on a forum by someone you've never met?

Frankie's definitely one of the very best prospects we've had in years. OK - he's not a massive puncher but he's certainly not feather fisted. And what lacks in concusive power, he more than makes up for in skill...and he's getting better very quickly.

I've no doubt he will prove the likes of Nulty very wrong in the years to come...:good

Anyways...Frankie has ability that's for sure...i be honest i'm not fully sold on him yet...i actually wasn't impressed by his first 2 fights but he's improved since and he's showing some good signs.

He has a lot of improving to do and he knows that more then anyone plus he will step up and fight better fighters and then we will see. Can he win a world title...i think he can grab a title in the future but i wouldn't stay he go on to be a superstar just yet he has some way to go but he seems a decent lad and someone who wants to learn so why can't he become a superstar but first things first Frankie needs to get himself to a level where he can talk about stardom and that's for the future. He already has a good fanbase and he is aggressive type fighter so that will help him get star status over here. :good

 

as the MC says " hes never entered an amauter tournement without winning a medal" or along them lines. thats some ****ing achievement is it not.????

theres other "feather fisted fighters" out there who have been world champions

 

its ridiculas the way some posters go on here

muppets slagging off world champions , ffs it makes the place a lot more intresting when you have top pros like bellew and gavin coming on here expressing there opionions

I'm all for pro (and amateur) boxers coming on here, and I don't have any problem with a poster offering a little advice or criticism, provided it is done so in a respectful and constructive manner - I'm sure the last thing they want is a load of people telling them how brilliant they are and that world titles will come easy...... I'm sure within a year or so they will acquire more than enough hangers on.
