So who would you guys like to see Danny Green fight now?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by suicide booth, Dec 2, 2009.

  1. Why cares if he's not that special? He comes to fight and always makes it interesting. Are you some kind of boxing snob who only turns on his TV to watch "special" fighters? That's sad. :-(

If he stays at cruiser then Adamek-Green would be brutal.

At 175 then Cloud, Johnson, or Mack are all must see fights.

I think Green is too small for the real cruisers.

That said Adamek went life and death with our own Briggs and Green is significantly more skilled at boxing than Griggs.

Considering the animosity worked up in sparring with James Toney at Wild Card, and the viral sensation it caused world wide, bet fans would love to see'em do it for real.

With few options left for Lights Out, it'd be a money-maker in OZ (maybe enough for James to drop enough poundage for the two to agree upon)

What's green supposed to say at an interview. "i feel like i'm going to pass out here on the scale, mate. could you hold me up" of course he's going to go through w/ it. Anyone who follows pro boxing GLOBALLY knows that green had issues with weight since the sean sullivan fight when he had to be rushed to the hospital for dehydration. Hint Hint. He looked sick in the fight with mundine, otherwise he would've moved forward. instead his feet
were stuck in the mud. Green is vastly more comfortable at 175-180 pounds.

Skelton my ass. Green was a career 168 lb fighter and Mundine tapped that boy.

  9. **** yeah! Pay Toney to come down here! That would be awesome.

O'neil Bell. That guy is extremely good. He is a former UD Cruiserweight World Champion who KO'd Mormeck.

I'd say Briggs was the more skilled fighter.
