If he beat them at this point, I'd only give him credit for Calzaghe and Taylor III. The others wouldn't mean a whole ton. Calzaghe would be a huge statement, but there would always be talk of ring rust, past his prime, broken hands, etc. Taylor would be just a revenge thing, but it would still be good. Jones would be along the same lines, but there's nobody today that would give Jones a very good chance against Hopkins, is there? I'd rather see him hang them up, or fight one more, get a win, and get out.
Judging by the time it takes Bernard to sign fights, I'd rate him 6 feet under after these fights were over. His final fight with Byrd would earn a special exemption from the WBC to allow a walker to be used in the ring. The fight, of course, would be for the super mega platinum diamond belt.
