We haven't heard anything official yet. Bob Arum hasn't even spoken to Pacquaio. This fight is still in the process of being made. Nobody has signed any contracts, including Floyd.

Even if Pac can't do a March 13 / May 1st date, the fight is still going to happen, there's way too much money on the table.

Wait for an official word, before you start shitting your pants.

The floyd fans here are rejoicing praying that Pacquiao focuses on the May elections rather than fight so Floyd can foght Matthew Hatton without being called a ducker

there's a difference between not wanting to fight and moving the date of the fight.

floyd can fight matt if he wants before facing pac, there's no shame to that. matthew hatton is a beast! :D

All the internet warriors wanted a fight in the first half of 2010. It doesn't matter that Pac and everyone else here in ESB knows that Pac will run again in the next election. I really think that Pac can only fight after the election. He has to give his time in the coming election if he ever wants to win it.

Hopefully Bob Arum is convincing enough to change Pac's mind and convince him to forgo his election ambition next year and do it in the election after next instead.

Pacquiao has given so much to the boxing world, and yet he is criticized when he prioritized running for a seat that he honestly believes would be able to help his people, a cause that which transcends boxing. We may argue, but Pac believes otherwise.

He is not ducking Mayweather. Mayweather can wait till Pac gets his goals done.

Mayweather could have fought Pac right after the Hatton fight, Roach offered the fight to him, but Void refused. Pac fought Cotto, a fighter that Void refused to fight. Not to mention Mosely, and Margarito.
