On common sense pal , wake up Haye has scary Power , Hopkins is the better boxer , but Haye has Reach,Size,Strength, and Power(Big) , Hopkins whould be stopped for the 1st time i have no dout what so ever and id bet on a Brutal KO also Hopkins has no Buiesness in with Haye

Shot Mormeck, once again after being wobbled. Haye was more negative against Valuev than a 100 year old version of Holyfield, this after all of his K.O talk. If you want to see huge C class fighters getting K.O go watch Dempsey v Willard or Louis v Carnera. Valuev would have been brutalized against either, no running away the whole fight Bs involved.

So the man who fought Joe Calzaghe, Antonio Tarver,Jermain Taylor twice, Oscar De La Hoya,Felix Trinidad,Glen Johnson,Roy Jones Jr, and Kelly Pavlik. And HAS NEVER BEEN STOPPED IN A FIGHT can't handle Hayes power? The question is can Haye make contact?

What was the point in naming those fighters when known of them even come close to hitting has hard as Haye does. BHOP is getting old and was tagged easily by that tomato can he fought last night.

Agree with taylex as good as some of those fighters you mention are/where not one has a barring on a Haye fight as none of them Have anything like the Strength/Power that Haye has , id take a little more time to think about your post's my friend

So I guess "Strength/Power " is all that matters in a fight? go watch some MMA.

Every quote I read from you makes me want to stop reading these threads, I remeber when ESB was about serious boxing chat and a place to find out what was what - those days are long gone - you just typify that!

More Negative than Holyfield - but the fact is he won! Hopkins is class, no arguements, but He is no Heavy (and just because of my avatar, I am no nuthugger)

There comes a point where size, strength and power disparity render all other factors insignificant. It is not like BHOP is a big puncher and has a punchers chance so he would have to be looking towards a 12 round decision which is not going to happen.

People think a 44 year old 175lb man could:

    Put on enough weight.
    Carry his speed/stamina/reflex up.
    Improve his power.

Let's be real for a moment.
He would be fighting a young, fast, 220lb HW Champ, former unified CW champ with 21ko's from 23wins. The guy rocked a 320lb man ffs what do you think he'd do to BHop!!!

I am a big big fan of Hopkins, I love what that guy is about, I mean he is like 44!!! :yikes

But I believe this is not the fight for him. Haye is quick, and he is very powerful, only 2 people have ever lasted the full way with him. I just don't think it would be very entertaining...

Talk of this fight is just Golden Boy getting Hayes name out there. Surely you people can see that, can't you?
    But...................
If it were to happen, ole Popkins would be put in a coma and most of us sane people would be questioning our love for this sport.
