Now that Hopkins has no fight for March 13th and Bute is in need of a higher profile fight, this sounds like a great idea. You know BHop can still make 168lbs.
Hops would school him so bad it wouldnt be funny. Bute would get taught a lesson in every aspect of the game and would get humiliated. A knockout isn't out of the question
I think you need to consult. You spend all your days hating Bute. It's not good for your health. Beside, you're polluting the forum, again.
Yeah Hopkins always looks tremendous and never strugless against slick, fast boxers. At age 45 I don't think that chances one bit-especially against some one like Bute. As we all know Bute likes to fight in the center of the ring and remain stationary like Wright and Pavlik. atsch
^^ That's half true. Well i dont agree with the risk part because there will be no risk in fighting Bute but the reward isnt going to be that great.
I think it is a big reward for Hopkins. Bute is considered by many right now to be as good as any of the Super Six. Hopkins loves to fight 'white' boys and just like beating Pavlik he would make a huge statement at age 45 that he is as good as any super middleweight out there today. It would be a huge sell out fight at Bell Center. Big reward for Bute if he could pull out a win, especially after Pavlik got his ass handed to him by Bernard.
fast? sure why not.. slick? is what i have yet to see. he's been going up against mediocre comp and andrade gave him trouble both times they fought.
His last KO, was in 2004, his only had what about 3-4 KO since 2000. Hopkins isn't exactly KO artist.
Hops is a master at dissecting the Southpaws and Bute might look like Joppy once hops is through with him.
You mean to tell me Andreade was giving him a hard time in the second fight? GTFO your clueless, better yet watch the fights. nut:nut
i guess clinging to bute's genitals prevents you from posting a well thought out elaborated response, what a shame. im just not sold on bute beating limited fighters as much as you are. hopkins may be old, but judging from his last performance he proved his age was just a number. he wouldn't knock bute out, he would just give him a harsh boxing lesson for 12 rounds.
