Well, if you'd asked the question two weeks ago, Manny Pacquiao would be beating him into retirement.

Not in the classic section, there are some nuthuggers on here who are blind when it comes to their fighters but you recognize them pretty fast and sort them out - also they are most good posters on matters which aren´t related to their fighters - the rest would have some good oppinions - aside from frankenfrank

Hard to say as we haven't got any footage of WW Cerdan to my knowledge, was he as good as the MW version but stronger at the weight? Impossible to say. I think he'd beat most of them but Mayweather and Pacquaio would have too much speed for him and UD him and Williams would rangyness and workrate would win a UD

Cerdan would run roughshod over today's 154 lb division (or hell, this century's so far), I'll tell you that much. A shame it didn't exist for him. He'd be the first to KO Wright in a time machine. :good

Today's middles are just too much. Pavlik would have almost seven inches on him! :scaredas: Even his countryman (and long-awaited heir presumptive to the French MW world-class throne)

would be too big and too athletic.

BIG DEE HERE= Pavlik is athletic more than Cerdan please Hagler would have used him for a punching bag. So would have Monzon as i have always thought the modern fight fan has
overrated Pavlik I said Hopkins was going to wear him out and it happened. Cerdan would have came in low under Pavliks punches got to the inside and unloaded the rack on Pavlik.
Cerdan was a very strong Middleweight that LaMotta one of the strongest middleweights
ever in the history of the division had to foul him to win the fight in 1949. Marcel Cerdan
fought Jake LaMotta with one hand for the next 9 rds and Cerdan fought him with his
right hand only without having a left jab to keep LaMotta at bay. No left jab or hook
and he fought off LaMotta for 9 rds he would have beaten LaMotta in the return with two good hands. The fight we were cheated out of was Cerdan vs Robinson which would have been a war as Cerdans style would have been a nightmare for Robinson
as he had a terrible time with Carmen Basilio who had an attacking style like Cerdan`s.
Cerdan was bigger stronger and more harder hitting than Basilio. Cerdan was a far better boxer than Basilio and would have had a ever chance to defeat Robinson and Pavlik

Impossible to say due to there being no footage of Cerdan at WW, but Mayweather, Williams and Pacquaio would beat him? What sound logic.
