This seems like more bull****. Floyd is not about to sit around for a year waiting on Pacquaio. Pac and his whole team had no problem claiming Mayweather was scared of Pacquiao. Besides, HBO and Pac's own promoter pushed for either May or March. Don't put any of this on Floyd. He's willing to take the fight anytime.

 

I understand very well a thing or 2 about the human body and at his age, with his natural conditioning, 9 weeks of rest before starting another training camp will not take a toll on his body, if he truly rests properly for those 9 weeks...

If Pacquiao spends his entire time filming all day, then partying and getting laid til' the the sun comes up every day, then yes he won't be physically ready and healed in time...

There again, it's a matter of choices and dedication in doing everything needed to be successful for this fight, including resting properly til' training gets underway. His eardrum will not be a problem when January comes around unless he has complications in the healing process...

In an ideal world, he would have waited longer to get that fight going but 4 months shouldn't be a problem.

Anyways, if the man would just get into the ring with FMJ next September for example, then some would use that as an excuse to say he lost part of his timing cause it's been too long in between fights..

As far as needing more time to get ready for Mayweather...I disagree also.
When January comes around Roach will have analyzed over and over again every possible angle and he will have his plan ready to be implemented. It's not about changing the way Pacman fights, but rather making certain particular adjustements to maximize Pacquiao's strenghts...

 

PErsonally i think mid April would be perfect but hey Mannys got a lot of other **** on

Basically Manny is thinking, if he beats Floyd, he is a certainty to win his political seat

 

if he wins they will say wow and on only 3 months of work manny was able to do this to floyd or whatever... if he loses they will say he diddnt have enough time to train it wasnt fair floyd had a couple extra months of rest this n that yada yada yada same **** either way there will be criticism and excuses of course :roll:

It's not too soon. Roach said he was fine and he was going to 154 for a title shot in March. So why the concerns now?

 

I couldn't agree more. After all PBF is a small fragile guy and the easiest fight out there. Boy! Raoch really painted Pac in a corner with that one.:yep

I think March is too soon for Pac because he took some damage in the Cotto fight, and because PBF is a guy you need time to prepare for. I'd rather it be in March, but hey...it's not up to me.

im just surprised that roach and pac are happy to fight so soon, ideally im pretty sure they would both prefer May. The obviously both really want this fight to happen and they just cant wait. fair play to them.

 

Because it's Floyd Mayweather, and not Yuri Foreman.

 

I'm not concerned I wish they could fight this weekend.
