Rampage: "I'm Coming Back For My Fans To Shut Dana's Mouth"

    Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has announced via his website that he is coming back to the UFC to finish out his contract. Below is what he said on his blog earlier tonight.

    "I've noticed that the UFC & TUF have some fans brainwashed or something. They still haven't realized yet that the TV show is just a TV show. I did my job by entertaining people and if you ever paid any attention to me, that's what I'm known for doing.

    Now, I wanted to let my fans know that I'm going to come back to the UFC & finish my contract. Not because the haters are talking (expletive) about me being scared of Rashad. I'm coming back for my fans & to shut Rashad's mouth up & shut Dana's mouth up. Then after that I'm going back to doing movies & I might do a boxing match once a year just to stay in shape. Hate on dis!"

    All this **** about Rampage leaving, slagging of Dana and the UFC was all obvious BS to me.

    I knew he was'nt going no where.

    It's Tito vs Dana all over again. :roll:

    They need to make the Rashad vs Rampage fight sooner rather than later. By the time they actually get around to fighting - it will have lost all it's heat. Could have been a main event if it was next week.

    I don't think it was bull**** guys, I think it's typical of any man to do what Rampage did. He's been in the sport a LONG time already, after a while you get tired of things. He felt he deserved more of a say in what he did and that's not how it works with Dana. Men are prideful and I think it was a combination of pride and a loss of hunger for the sport that caused Rampage to tell the UFC to **** off, oh and his hunger for fighting was replaced by a hunger for acting. Say what you will about it but we only live once, why not try to take full advantage of acting opportunities. He fought and worked his ass off to get himself the fame and notoriety to be in that position. I also think it is pride that is making him come back now. Ironic really.

    Yes! Hopefully Rashad and Rampage will fight soon now. It really sucked watching TUF knowing that all their cocking off to each other wouldn't result into a fight at the finale.

    I'm glad to hear that! Even though, Rampage was suppose to fighting in our hometown next Saturday...Maybe he can still get the match in Memphis when he does decide to fight Rashard.

    These people even look stupid in comparison to Jackson. They literally don't think zuffa reps lie. Zuffa is the gospel.

    But I would suggest Jackson try to buy out his contract and fight for SVS&E. Any time you fight for zuffa, the sport gets a little worse. It doesn't matter what reason you do it for.
