Being a Pacquiao fan, I should know better but...

for some reason I still think that Williams would lose to Pavlik mainly because Pavlik in naturally bigger, punches way harder than anyone PW has fought and is a pretty durable guy.

Pavlik may not be as fast or slick as Martinez but I still think Pavlik can and will land on PW and when he does it will be trouble for PW.

But still, I'm more than ready to be proven wrong, PW showed a whole lot of heart against Martinez and his stamina is unreal. It would be a great fight regardless of the outcome I think.

lol love how you now neglect to even mention the first fight while before a 6-0 shutout was beyond debate.

Explain the point? watch it yourself dumbass. If you think taylor was dominating Pavlik up untill the KO then take up a new sport and start watching figure skating or some ****.

The second fight Taylor jabbed him to death and Pavlik could not land till Taylor got tired. Taylor fought a great fight the second time he just got tired.

other people share my view on this.

In the first fight he was leading on all three judges scorecards till that point.

    (58-55, 59-54 and 58-55)

That fool did say PDub would smoke Martinez. I've also noticed that neck and walk are conspicuous by their complete absence.

I think PW would get sparked by Pavlik, Kelly clearly has more power than Sergio and being taller he could get better leverage instead of having to jump up at him. I would take Sergio over Kelly by UD though, the movement and handspeed would give him alot of trouble.

Well, well, well. Look how the tables have turned. Guess Williams was just an overhyped bum after all.

    Calderon KO1 Pavlik.

So Pavlik "got outboxed" by constantly beating Taylor to the punch, out-jabbing him, forcing him onto the back foot and giving him a working over?

Considering his size and how hard he is to hit, yes. He was slipping punches all night and going to the body somehow was difficult because of his angles.

Martinez is tougher than Pavlik. If I were in Paul Williams camp I'd push for Pavlik and rematch Martinez late next year. Martinez is a Joe Calzaghe type fighter, high volume, great speed and footwork, doesn't telegraph his punches and technically sound. He is a nightmare for anyone, that includes Pavlik or Hopkins. I don't think Pavlik has any defensive skills at all so if it's a contest of who can pressure the other guy I think Williams will beat Pavlik because Williams is harder to hit and throws just as many punches.
