The unbeaten Mexican middleweight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. tested positive for the banned diuretic Furosemide and faces a nine-month suspension and a $100,000 fine. Chavez tested positive after his 10-round victory against Troy Rowland on Nov. 14 in Las Vegas, said Keith Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
According to WIKI "Along with some other diuretics, furosemide is also included on the World Anti-Doping Agency's banned drug list due to its alleged use as a masking agent for other drugs."
Doesn't matter if he's suspended in the USA. He can still fight in Mexico. Does this mean Chavez-Duddy can still happen?
