He would have to breach his contract with the ufc; which, contrary to many fight fans understanding, isn't actually impossible or criminal (well there could be fraud issues bit intent would have to be proven).

i like to see him fight someone big next. He has fought arlovski so i dont think he would be intimidated by carwin or velazquez.

Roy isn't going to be intimidated by anybody, he is the most ready to go TUF champ in it's history. Had he not been stood up from ****ing side control, you know, his best position, against Arlovski, he very well might have won.

BJJ is one of those things.. The Gracies even say it, you don't need to be super strong, flexible or fast to good at it. But, you do need to be intelligent and able to think on the go. Where in Wrestling, Sambo, Judo, Boxing, in order to be any good, you are going to need some gifts, be it strength, agility, flexibility, speed along with intelligence to be good..

Who would have thought, having a huge beer gut would be a weapon that enhances a fighters BJJ? Seems Roy has found a way to use a gut in place of great flexibility, or blink of an eye quickness/speed to put himself up there.

On one hand, I'm proud of Roy Williams, on the other, I'm a little sad for the BJJ world. He's definately an odd monster, and I don't think the MMA world will be flooded with beer gut BJJ practitioners. But wow.. Beer gut, secret weapon in MMA..

That's what I was thinking. A guy like Velasquez would be a really tough fight stylistically for him.

Roy isn't going to get a Burger King endorsement any time soon. Burger King doesn't exactly spend advertising dollars on the premise that their food makes you fat.

Roy is a cool dude and an awesome fighter but he's hyping Burger King for free and it will stay that way.

Anyone have a picture of him wearing a strikeforce hat? :rofl

Reminds me of the scene in sleepers when Rizzo went rough on the guards during the football game and then after his moment of glory they took him in the prison and beat him to death  Anybody seen Roy after this stunt? :huh
