Seriously the amount of threads completely underestimating Kingpin is crazy.

And all this quitting talk is nonsense, lets face it if anyone is going to quit in his corner its Vitali. Anyone remember the Byrd fight?

I really wish he would fight Vlad, i know they've both said they would never.....but surely deep down at the back of their minds they must be curious about whether they could knock the other out!?!

I for one would love to see it! :yep

Yeah we'll be sure you refer you back to this thread when Johnson goes to sleep and loses his 0 in a big way.

Yeah the Byrd fight was close to 10 years ago, keep reaching noob hater.

Kevin is the next man in a list of less than adequate challengers.. He is unbeaten, and has been mixing in a decent class (so to speak) and is making all the right noises .. He is at the minute what we may call, the best of a bad bunch. Kevin can punch in his own class, but may not have the firepower to remove Vitali of his senses.. I do think he deserves a shot if most of the others (Samuel, Arreola, Thompson, Brock, Byrd) have been granted a try at the title. Its a longshot and Kevin knows that himself.. He is in shape and just wants a better life for his kids and family.. James Douglas was a very unlikely challenger in Tokyo.. You just never can tell........

    ****ing BS.
WHo do you want him to fight?

People say Klitschkos only fight bums...because they are just too good for the other guys. They all look like bums...
    Damn Austin is his mandatory...

This is his 4th fight in 14 months. He is giving a shot to yet another undefeated American contender. I assume Vitali should fight once a year and throw 11.9 punches a round and run the whole fight like David Haye? Is that what you would rather watch?

Johnson isn't bad. It's a stay busy fight and against a good contender.

Johnson, if nothing else, has the best jab in the division outside of maybe Wlad. That thing is a beautiful sight...and hey...the jab is what got Holmes where he is today.

Sanders, Williams, Gomez, etc. Vitaly made a career out of it. Kingpin is far from what I call top fighters, maybe not a bum but at best, a borderline contender.

Yep. 2nd fight in less than, what 80 days?
    Against an undefeated AMERICAN contender.

Look at the top fighters, what other fighters have
going on, and who Vitali has already beat, what
else is he supposed to do??

    Wladimir - Obviously not fighting

Povetkin - Just fought, he'll fight Wlad before Vitali

    Chambers - Fighting Wlad next

Chagaev - No point in seeing a repeat of Wlad/Chagaev

Haye - He had his chance

Peter - Vitali already beat him

Valuev - Valuev won't fight Vitali...and Valuev just lost, so no point really

    Boytsov - Too young

Arreola - Vitali made him cry

    Thompson- KO'd by Wlad

Still...WHo do you want him to fight? I ask again...

I think its unfair to say that because a fighter dominate, the rest is All Bums

His brother, Valuev, Povetkin, Virchis, Dimitrenko, hell, even Tua should be better. I really don't know how Johnson can get a shot at a title with his resume, Vargas, Greer, Seldon, Barnes...WTF
