Are there any good fighters with NO Amateur background?

    Pac didnt have much of an amateur career either from what i've read.

    Librado Andrade has a very minor amateur background.

    I do not believe Margarito had much, if any, amateur experience

    He didn't have NO amateur background, but Librado Andrade went 1-13 as an amateur.

    There are a fair number of decent HWs with no amateur background, because they came from other sports and went straight in as pros (Brian Minto, Tye Fields, Derric Rossy jump to mind). Also, a few guys who started really young like JCC Jr. had no amateur background.

    Yea, considering he was on the streets and had to lie about his age at 16 to go pro in order to put bread on the table.

    Kermit Cintron started boxing very very late. Like in 2000 Das insane.

    he had 90 won 81 of them,he also won the Inernational German title in the amateurs.


    Marco Huck had 20 or so amateur fights but then he already was a kick-box world champ.
