"Vitali's greatest performance to date is a loss to Lennox Lewis. That's his most memorable fight and the one result on his record that will be remembered in the history books. "The Klitschkos don't care about being great fighters, whereas I do," he added. "They may be big in Switzerland, but so are yodellers, and nobody wants to watch them fight." "I'll be watching the fight, but only because I have an interest in meeting Vitali next year," said Haye. "As far as the fight itself goes, it's one of the most unappealing heavyweight title fights for a while and that's saying something. "The fact that a title fight between a Ukrainian and an American is being held in Switzerland tells you all you need to know about the appeal of this fight. Heavyweight title fights should be huge events, not an after-thought in a country most famous for producing Toblerones." :rofl:rofl:rofl http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2009/dec/09/david-haye-unification-fight-klitschko
was reading it thinking this aint so great, then i read the toblerone line and it got me. almost in fits. brilliant :yep:rofl:yep
Class:rofl:rofl Love it. Keep turnin that screw. Dont think he done Johnson any favours though:scaredas: He gunna be mad as a wasp:twisted:
Haye makes himself look more classless all the time. Trash talk can be fun if it has some intelligence to it and the fighter dishing it out also proves his stuff in the ring. Haye stunk out the joint in his fight against Valuev and that was his most significant fight to date. He looked less impressive against Barrett than Solis and less impressive against Valuev than Chagaev and still runs his mouth as if he has added something special to the HW division in terms of actual fights.
Vitali would still rip Haye a new hole to spout more inane bull**** from. If this was coming from an American you lot would be calling him a "typical thrash talking yank". It's all jokes when Froch & Haye are doing it though.
It may just be trash-talk, but damn it's entertaining and in fairness to Haye, he does make some valid points! World Heavyweight title fights should be huge occasions, I mean look at the division 10 years ago, all the fights were in Vegas or at least the States, they were box office hits! Who the hell would pay to watch Klitschko-Johnson in Switzerland?? Not me!!! Haye is also saying these things to once again rile Vitali and make him even more eager for a fight to 'shut him up'. Don't get me wrong, it's a tough, tough fight for Haye, but the Vitali NOW is not as good as the Vitali who lost to Lewis 6 years ago! Haye would win for me!!
Hilarious... what a guy Haye is. Much better than the usual 'ima knock him out' BS from some fighters.
always a couple of humorless haters on here sure there is plenty of room on the anal bleaching forum where your boyfriends hang out lads :smh :soccergr:
Haye needs to get his house in order, you can't go appearing on Paul O'Grady & The One Show, appealing to the blue-rinse demographic, and then be SLAGGING Toblerones! All his hard promotional work undone in one sentence.
