I knew it you cheeky haggis chomper. So what do you say about that incident now? I don't expect you to like Hatton, but do you at least admit he was not the vindictive **** who tried to disrespect Arthur?

That stoppage was fine. Just like Manfredo, if you wanna sit on the ropes just covering up and leaving about 20-30 punches unanswered, dont cry when it gets stopped.

I felt the Manfredo stoppage was appalling and I stand by that. I think it is Lawtons fault he got stopped because he did not take a knee, but until I see it again I am not happy with it. Basically if a guy is like Castillo in his first fight with Corrales, where his hands drop and clean shots are raining in, stop it.

If the guy is not really hitting back but covering up and not having clean shots rock his head then don't stop it. The ref who stopped Manfredo would have stopped Ali in the Rumble of the Jungle based on that logic.

Lawton had hardly come to fight, he wasn't about to start right at the end. People are only saying it was a bull**** stoppage because they didn't get their money's worth.

you cant play that card mate come on now that may be the case elsewhere but dont bring it to the forum...... i read on another thread that khan was gettin it tight at the fight so you may have a case but i'm pretty sure no one would say racist stuff on the forum they would be struck off.

If Lawton had put in a more convincing display before the stoppage then it may have been a little premature but he hadn't and the fight was only going one way so I don't have any problem with it - the result was inevitable.

Khan looked impressive but Lawton was disappointing - didn't look like he was there to win, hardly threw anything meaningful, failed to use his experience, very poor. In terms of his performance on the night he was one of the worst opponents I have seen Khan in with. That is harsh for me but justified I feel particularly considering he was challenging for a Title on prime time TV.

    Yes. yes I do.

However, the sombreroless man was Billy Graham, so Im still ****in angry.

But your boy Ricky was innocent. I may be a *******, but I am only after the real culprit... Is that so bad?

You could also ask was Hatton holding Gomez sombrero?

we will never know:D But it sure is fun trying to find out where that sombrero flung onto Arthur came from dont you think gaz?

& although im making light of the situation at this moment Gaz my good man, it still irks me that some ***** did that to Arthur. & no way was it a fan, cos he couldnt have gotten into the ring & thrown the sombrero onto Arthur so quickly.

I have also seen another angle where the sombrero lands....and it is thrown from outside the ring...I saw it come over the top rope...therefore it could easily have been anyone in the front row or just behind. Best bet is one of Gomez's boys sat ringside.

Look, I admitted defeat on this one. I could have easlily faked innocence, so please dont try to patronise me with all this "I seen it from another angle"

I got the fight on tape mate, no other angle exists!

but I dont blame you for trying Strike;)
