Freddie Roach says Khan will eventually move up all the way to middleweight. Imagine in 3-4 years time Top Rank cashcow Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has a padded record and is ranked highly by the WBC. With Bob Arum manouvering JCC Jr to fight a paper champ in the division or a vacant title and then cash in. We all know that JCC Jr is protected and is not that good. Amir Khan being also protected and Roach being such a shrewd matchmaker, picks JCC Jr as Khan's next opponent so he can become a multi-weight champion. At this stage it is a fight that would be lucrative, so Bob Arum might cash in and let JCC Jr fight a live opponent. Who would win?

Chavez Jr is a top rank cash cow? That slow plodding, talentless bum? Since when?

Should Khan move to MW, he would ****ing slaughter Chavez Jr.

Amir Khan has more ability, but also has the worst chin I have EVER seen. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. does very little aside from leaning in and trying to land a left hook to the body. Chavez Jr. would likely lose the fight, but I would NEVER bet on Khan given his complete lack of anything even slightly resembling punch resistance.

Khan. If my intuition is correct in that Khan's chin wasn't the problem it was his hot-headedness then Khan will go far in this sport. ****, I think Khan can probably beat Chavez Jr. now.

Chavez, Jr. sucks. Khan would only have to watch a big punch to earn an easy win.

    In 4 years, he'll only be 27

chavez, even though he's about to be suspended for testing positive for a diuretic, will be around as long he sells out places in mexico and people buy those "latin fury" pay per views that he usually headlines.

And as long as that is the case then he will not be put in with anyone good. I dont like it, but whatever. Every sport has its things that drive its fans nuts, best to just let it be and dont spend any money on it

Chavez's 0 will be gone by then he will be exposed, and not to lucrative. Not even in Mexico. They should get Chavez a big fight soon, before its too late. Maybe if El Perro can win a title and if he blows up we can see Perro kick his ass. That fight would bring in some$$. Or if Delahoya ever decides to comeback so he can go out a winner he can beat up on little Jr for an easy payday.
