How many heavyweights had faster hands than tyson?.

Ali, Louis, Patterson, hell, I'll even throw Holmes in there.

even a guy like bruce seldon who couldnt really do anything when it came to big fights had lighting fast handz that could of been as fast or faster then tyson

the think that the bozo i quoted hit the nail on the head with is that i as well dont think that anyone threw hooks as short, quick and HARD as tyson did.

actually tyson barely had a wide up either and therefore it waz extremely hard to get out of the way of his punches when he waz on his game because it was so hard to telegraph them

Holyfield in his prime had faster hands. Tyson was fast compared to some others but he wasn't as fast as Holyfield prime for prime as we could see when they fought.

Also, I think Frazier threw his hook about as fast as Tyson, you have to throw 'em pretty quick to land so many on Ali.

 

For a guy that didn't look like a dangerous fighter, Corrie Sanders had some really fast hands. I'm not saying he was faster than Tyson but he has some fast ass hands.

with that said i disagree firmly that holyfield had superior hand speed to not juz tyson but many otherz

is it possible ur getting mixed up because in the holyfield tyson fight holyfield waz not at all AFRAID of tyson after tyson had hit him with a few of hiz wicked shotz, in fact evadar walked right through those shotz without flinching, i said this right after the fight even before i watched it in slow motion over and over, evandar waz staring mike down in the ring and it got under tysonz skin for the first time i ever remembered. not even when lewis waz pounding him out did tyson come close to having someone get in his mind like evandar did. the thing that i thing freaked tyson out waz evandar walked through tysonz power so well that most fanz at ring side and watching from tv werent even sure if the shotz had connected because as soon as they connected tyson waz immediately countered straight back with no delay and that had never before happened to tyson and it freaked him out. thus evandar in tysonz panic started to use it to hiz advantage and he began to rush tyson and began to TIME him really well plus evandar didnt care if he got tagged whatsoever.

anywayz as usual im so far off course im lost, however i think holyfield has fast handz above average for sure but i seriously do not believe that holyfield handz were nearly as fast as tyson

holyfield tyson is a ****ing classic

both of them really even with the short ending

i loved watchin holyfield and i have seen many of his fightz that i would consider classicz

what he walked through fighting bowe and a few otherz were incredable but possibly the best i have ever seen holyfield waz against tyson eventhough tyson waz not quite as well trained as he had been earliry in his career

tyson still looked dam good in those early roundz before holyfield started to impose his will on tyson, itz just that holyfield looked like some freakin cyborg unit from the future in that fight, as if he had spoken to god personally before the fight and been ashored of his victory if he only kept trying. before the tyson fight i didnt think holyfield would match up well against tyson. after the fight i thought holyfield waz one of the toughest fighterz i have ever seen in my life.

still his hands were not super fast, only above average

he landed on ali because he employed a good game plan of crouchin down and frustratin ali by not lettin him land alot of clean shotz

then when ali would get a lil careless joe waz great at springing a left hook walloping ali

frazier had a fast left hook but it waznt in tyson speed of deliver

 

sorry i meant above average relative to the TOP LEVEL guyz of ALL TIME

so yes i would totally agree that a young holyfield had very quick handz

faster then tyson ? i already posted in this thread about who i thought coulda been faster then tyson, which as far as short left and right hookz go is nobody basically
