Mundine down at 154? Come on.

    Boxrec has Anthony Mundine as going for a minor title at light middleweight. IBO's international light middleweight title. He weighed in just under the 168-pound limit for his last fight. As far as I can find, he's never come in as low as light middle, had only a few at middle and one or two just slightly into light heavy.

    Mundine is 34. If boxrec has this right, is this just a very stupid move on his part or is it me? I'm no Mundine expert, it just seems like a strange thing to do at this point.

    IT is True he is fighting for the IBO Belt against an Aussie known as Rob Medley... i honestly dunno how he is gonna make weight :S

    I don't think he's great but I don't think he's a chump either. I just don't see what prompted a move like this.

    he wants to do what no one has done before, and thats come down in weight picking up titles.

    he now wants to be known as "the pioneer" not "the man" because its never been done before , :nut...no **** :deal

    He should start by picking up ONE legitimate world title first. Then you can start to move up and down in weight.

    ...Okay, I was talking out of my nether regions. For all I know he could be the worst rugby player in the sport of boxing. :oops:
