Shouting abuse is not my thing but I don't think it is necessarily wrong.

WTF are you on about? I was there, & had a granstand view of everything that was going on. The Khan contingent were winding everyone up all night, & it got to the stage where guys were walking over to them to challenge them as they were being such pricks. luckily for them, they got a police escort out of the Braehead, & while they were, they were obnoxious as ****. & this is from me, a guy who defends Khan here. & watch the fight again if you have it, & listen to the support Khan received, which was deafening from the majority of the non asian fans. Its all there to see, & hear, as three quarters of the fans in there were white.

So stick your racism claims up your arse.

damn. I never want to get into this sort of **** here, but that post was so ****ed up I had to react. Sorry about that.

Khans nuthuggers are arseholes, just look at the Willie Limond montage on Youtube for proof.

Shame, as Khan could have been the one that brought everyone closer together.

But Im no politician, so I will leave it at that.

Panesar's a sikh not a muslim. I think that might be a factor.

I dont know if you were talking to me my man, but I just had to pull this guy up for saying Khans fans were the victims in Glasgow. What a load of utter tosh.

Khan fans racially slaughtered Limond, but I wouldnt drag it up here. All this 'racism' bull**** about Khan from anyone who doesnt cheer him on is a joke. But not a funny one.

Lawton fans are obviously going to have defective minds. You need to have, if you're going to follow such a poor boxer.

I hate to say this, and its not my opinion but....I think in general muslim people are just not liked very much in Britain, this is probably due to the fact of lots of bad publicity. I know its bad to generalise but i think its true.

Gr8 point Dunky- I totally agree but its not over yet! So lets hope the more success Khan gets the more the racists on either 'side' think about what they say and do!

I've encountered racism whilst boxing... especially when I'v got a skinhead... all the racist black guys call me a honky and all the racist white guys call me a ***** (sorry to use te word for those offended) and all the racist scottish guys call me 'a wee english bastart!' even though I was born in Holland and neither of my parents are from the UK originally. lol!!! I don't think any boxer would ever be bothered by it.

I think the Irish were the best though.... A mixed race guy with a mancunian sounding accent fighting for the Irish title... When I told people I was fighting for the Irish title they were like '???!' the commentator said that I looked like Ronaldo the cheeky b*****d. Racism encountered in Ireland - zero.

I attended an impact boxing show (Lawtons home promotion) in Stoke some 12 months ago. It was the worst display of racism ive encountered in any sporitng event, even worse than when Ive been away in europe with the football (and thats saying something). I was surprised when boxing news never mentioned it in their mag actualy, as someone from there covered the show. Regardless, I'd imagine a large section fo the lawton fans who allegedly shouted abuse on sat will have been the same mob that did so up on the balcony at the kings hall.
