Johannson TKO around 4/5 , younger fresher man with less wear on him .

    Johanneson wins.

Reasons? despite recent loss still in his prime, Carl has world class power & as Bigears says will be way too fresh for Gomez.

Gomez is old, shopworn & is yesterdays man, whos form since he has returned has been far from impressive.

As I said before, this ones a no-brainer. Johanneson to win by stoppage. & if I had to pick round? I will go for the fourth. Like all shot fighters Gomez will be dangerous for a round or maybe even two, after that it will be one way traffic.

Johanneson is a good fighter, & one I have always rated highly. Thats why Im picking him, just incase people think its cos I dont like gomez & its some sort of personal vendetta, which its not.

In fact, I would actually like Gomez to win, as Arthur says he would like to fight him if he beats Johanneson!

    hmm!

Gomez for me. Having spoken to Mike he has renewed enthusiasm for the sport. He's in superb shape. Sparring has been going really well. And just as importantly the fact JOhanneson was badly beaten up and KO'd a couple of months back. I dont think his chin will weather the early storm. I think Mike will get to him before the fight too.

johanneson looks great when the other fighter doesnt appear to be able to hurt him (like fehintola), but I think he'll be scared of Gomez and what he brings.

it's always difficult to predict how a fighter will react after a bad loss. johannson looked like a rabbit in the headlights last time out, and if gomez can pressure him like he did arthur then who knows?.
that said gomez does'nt hit nearly as hard as johannson's last opponent and if he gets off to a good start, he should wear gomez down mid fight.
