That was awful. And to think some **** in the GF told me I should give Vitali credit for beating that lump of ****.

The only good thing Johnson showed is that he's tough. That's it.

Haye's gonna have a field day with this fight, and well he should. What an abomination.

 

Wow, the highlights of all of tonight's 'action' were the final bell and the scuffle with Wlad. Funny seeing Wlad saying 'RELAX!' to Johnson. Does that bloke ever get visibly riled? The general will probably be awash with threads like 'Vitali is the most exciting HW ever' threads right now.

 

I really like Wlad - he seems like a good guy.

 

Well that's an hour I'll never get back and to think I could have been playing Call of Duty. I started out wanting the underdog to win it but ended up wanting to see him get knocked the **** out.

 

Look, these American heavyweights need to go away and take a long hard look at themselves. Johnson froze in those first two rounds. His jab is good but as a WBC Heavyweight title challenger it is utterly disrespectful to all other contenders for him to think that his jab and his mouth would be enough to beat Vitali.

You're a fighter. If you want pride then go down fighting and go down on your shield. You'll come back a stronger fighter and the networks will have something they can use. Who the **** at HBO etc would want to show him fight again?

Get the Yanks in a tournament. Eight of them if there is that many, one winner and he gets a shot. Something, anything.

Either that or shut the American heavyweight boxing down for a while.

 

I like how he only tried fighting on the bell and right at the very end, a bit like the tough guy having to be 'held back' by his friends.

 

I also like how on the general forum there is always talk of Euro bums, well the last 2 weekends we have seen to US bums with padded out unbeaten records.

 

This also proves that once again the only heavyweight fights out there worth mentioning are Haye against the Klitschkos. Solis might come good but he's a while away yet in my opinion.

 

At least Chris Aerolla tried and as a consequence took a beating, Johnson's efforts were pitiful.

 

Yep. Arreola did try. We all knew that beforehand as well. And as a result of that and his ruck with Minto the other night the networks have a guy that they can market. But for ****'s sake this is the best that the USA has to offer.

Joe Louis must be turning in his grave. And the 70s lot must be embarassed.

 

That was absolutely pathetic, combined with his horrendously moody attitude he just made a total **** of himself.

The sad thing is he'll probably claim going the distance as some sort of victory.
