I have a lot of the reapect for the guy, he comes to fight.

I also think he could do well against Ward.

However I also feel he is unnecesarily risking his health and the smart thing would be to retire. Have a crack at ward but otherwise please retire with your health!

Taylor has a much better chance vs. Ward than the Ward fans think. However, Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got all his fights in his home town. Ward will head butt Taylor because he can get away with it. Ward will not fight in tournament if Bute is allowed in it.

all these idiots on these boards like to think they can run someones life and be an advisor. Taylor boxes for a living. hes lost 3 fights....and all these people are screaming retire. do these clowns think hes made so much money in his life he can retire by 30? yeah an average person could retire like that, not a sports celeb. they are used to a standard of living.
arturo gatti had 7 or 8 losses and you never heard that retire after 3 losses...to all his "advisors" who think he cant still be a decent boxer, pay his damn bills or shut the f up...hes not telling you to retire because you suck at your fast food job

Taylor supports his whole family. He doesnt have enough $$ to even last a couple more years. He has to fight on even if he gets brain damaged he is doing it for his family. Ward will stop him on TKO. But, even then taylor will fight on.

He also owns a Rolls Royce. Bobby Chacon had all that stuff too. Today he collects bottles and cans off the street for a living.

The big question is, can Taylor take Ward's headbutts?

The guy should finish off the tourney, because anythin can happen in a knockout tourney, then fight one more time in Arkansas in a curtain call fight for his fans against a carefully chosen opp. If he needs money after that, the guy is a god in Arkansas, im sure he would be able to get some easy ass no show job sponsering companies or something. He will retire a multiple time WC, one of the few post 2000's undispted champs, holding all 4 ABC belts as well as the ring belt at the same time, has 2 wins against hopkins an ATG, an olympic bronze medal and national GG champ. The guy has accomplished more then 99.9% of people ever pick up a pair of gloves. The guy could hold his head up in any boxing circle. I know i will be rooting for him nomatter what he chooses to do.
