    maybe i am just in an environment where we do patronize our own fighters. i was assuming that because he's an american, americans support him more.

    Floyd fan's are in the closet with R Kelly... Floyd's biggest fan is himself. In the United States boxing fans tend to be impartial. Chavez, Duran, and Arguello had huge followings as does Pac now.

    Floyed has almost no fanbase. People probably know about him because of his fight with Oscar but I feel his PPV numbers are mainly attributed the drawing power of previous opponents.

    Am I suposed for who I think has more fans or who I like better? If it is the second there should be a "I like them both" option.

    Believe it or not, I actually like Mayweather, but his personality gets under my skin at times, especially since he un-retired. But if he was fighting anyone besides my boy Pac, I'd be rooting for him.
