    Great article there mate.

I reckon you have a real talent writing about the older fights as your passion for them shines through in your writings.

For a young lad your producing top stuff so well done to ya :good

Top stuff Greg. I liked your piece on Kaylor v Christie. I dug that one out and watched it again after reading your article.

Good stuff Greg.It was no mean feat the 22 year old Buchanan disposing of Maurice Cullen so emphatically.Cullen is from 10 miles down the road from myself a small pit village called Shotton Colliery and he was a good fighter. He had went the distance with Carlos Ortiz and Dave Charnley and also beat Bunny Grant,so it wasn't necessarily a formality for Buchanan,so to stop him like he did was a great effort.

I one shared a table with Maurice Cullen and he is nicest, most unassuming man you could ever wish to meet.
Buchanan would have toppled any British champion on the night he was crowned.

Thanks, that Kaylor sv Christie one was very detailed wasnt it i think i wrote down every punch that was thrown but glad you enjoyed it

Was a very good fighter i dont know too much about him, you couldnt be able to get me contact details for him could you?

    wouldnt he just?

definitly one of Buchanans best displays, imagine Ken vs Charnley

[/quote] Unfortunately mate he died 7 or 8 years ago of a heart attack.I noticed in my post i said "he is" from just down the road.I should have said "he was".Sorry about that. He had heart problems in the few years before he died i believe he'd had a bypass operation.
