I am a big fan of Khan, watched all of his fights since he started and was pretty hurt to see him knocked out, I took it worse then him! But he has come back very strong and its great, but even as a long time fan I would be scared that this is too much of a jump up for him. But I think Khan is one of those boxers like you don't know just how good they are until they are in the ring with somebody really good too. I think this would be a great fight, not sure Timothy could get the KO like some people are suggesting, with only 11 KO's to his 25 or so wins. I think Khans speed and stamina are too good for somebody to beat him over 12 rounds, so we will just have to see!

But overall, whether Khan wins or loses we will all see what he really can do against a top fighter, finally!

Gary Shaw, promoter of WBO light-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, claimed last night that promoter Frank Warren has been in touch with the governing body wanting to arrange a fight between Bradley and Amir Khan. Bradley, who holds a victory over Junior Witter, successfully defended the belt again last night against Lamont Peterson.
“The fight that I’m looking to do is an Amir Khan fight,” Shaw said at the post-fight press conference. “Right after tonight’s fight, I got a call from the head of the WBO (the sanctioning organization that recognizes Bradley). He told me that Frank Warren called him tonight and said he wanted to make a fight between Khan and Bradley.
“I had some preliminary discussions with Warren and Showtime a few months ago and I think it’s a fight that might be able to get done. I have no problem taking Timothy to England to fight Khan in front of 40,000 screaming Brits. I don’t think that’s a hard fight for Timothy. I’m surprised Warren wants that fight.
“Khan’s been stretched before and I’m more than happy to have Timothy stretch him again.”
Khan's trainer and mentor Freddie Roach has reportedly said he'd take the fight. (from a tottally different source m8)

I do not see Timothy Bradley outpointing Khan unless he scores two knock downs, I don't see it. Khan's speed, stamina and footwork will win this unless he gets starched but I doubt it. I just don't think Bradley has Khans Kryptonite, he'll cruise to a UD by about 3 rounds and it could get wider because of home town judging.

It's not banned. I assume he is referring to Liverpool where the paper saw sales plummet by about 75% after it's coverage of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster led to a boycott amongst Liverpool football fans.

Yeah, the Sun is a joke. If Hillsborough wasn't enough, Bonkers Bruno should have done the trick for just about anyone. I never buy it. I have read it though.

I don't think you understand the meaning of a Catch 22.

LOL. I said that without thinking. I guess the first statement would be doubting Khan's willingness to fight top guys whereas the second statement would be doubting Khan's boxing abilty.

However Khan is still in a catch 22 situation in regards to whoever he seems to fight and whatever he seems to do he always gets criticized. Recently, there was an article where Khan praised Pacquaio and said he wishes to be in his position one day and dudes on here began criticizing him. But imagine if he had said the opposite about Pacquaio? They would make another 100 threads saying he's cocky, arrogant etc.

    That's still not a catch 22.

Bradley would make khan feels like he's in desert storm, khan is not ready, but i think khan vs peterson would be a interesting matchup, but i still would go for peterson.
