a few people on this board and in the boxing world, use it as an indication of who the better man was. I thought you was the man to win it. you just never got the luck needed to win a comp of that nature

I disagree, I can't see how he would beat Bika or Codrington, but he is better than Johnson in my opinion. I think Smith is better of in MW, but that is of course just my opinion.

What a war that would be. Macklin appears tenacious, relentless, impeteous, unstoppable and a beast. Paulie looks a bit more refined. He actually has a defence, he'll pace himself, time his shots, work a jab etc

The Uk team were screwed In the UK Vs US one as well.

 

they should have kept all 16 contestants and had 8 fights, with 2 fights per show.

i wasn't going to talk about what happened as they haven't shown this on itv yet and not everyone is downloading, but i think things could have turned out much differently if he'd fought earlier.

 

They chose people who couldn't even make the weight and were as high as 190 odd pounds!:shock:
