    Marquez

Marquez is coming off a loss to mayweather in a valiant effort if anything else. he was dominated, but finished the fight standing against arguably the best in the game.

Hatton is coming off an excess amount of added weight, and a second round knockout loss to arguably the best in the game, the same best that marquez may have beaten at least once.

Hatton has proven that his determination alone is not enough to keep him from being thoroughly dominated and knocked out.

what advantage does hatton have? the crowd? marquez gave chris john a war in INDONESIA. The weight advantage? don't be a fool and say this, it's arguable that ricky has a weight advantage over steve cunningham right now, so that argument is immediately nulled

From the lastest pics I've seen of Hatton, he may need 7-8 months to get to 140. Either way, JMM ko's him with a brutal counter punch

Hatton can't help but box the way he does. It's to ingrained into his brain. He's gonna jump forward with a right hook, JMM will slip it, and land a beauty of a shot on his chin. And with Hatton's punch resistance less than my 7 years olds, its lights out.

If Marquez is even remotely the same fighter that he's been in his last couple of outings he will give Hatton another boxing lesson and may even stop him. Hatton's chin was cracked by PBF, and Pac cracked it even further.

Marquez will win this. Hatton hasn't got a hope. He's done now as a top level fighter. What can he achieve, maybe try and win a meaningless belt in the LWW division, thats if he can even make the weight. I saw him at the Matthew Macklin fight recently and the man looked about 180 pounds. His years of hard living inbetween fights have caught up with him big time.

Marquez is still not proven at 140, so anything can happen? But ultimately, I would go with my gut.

Marquez in a brutal fight by late stoppage on cuts. Hatton will have his moments, but his face wont hold up.

I'm picking Hatton on this one, but if it's true that Hatton ain't got no punch resistance left, he'll get KOd.

I think its a good matchup but think Hatton is too big for Marquez, depending on how Hatton looks after the long layoff (and possible the most weight hes put on tween fights), are they going right into that fight or would they share a card both takin a tuneup (which Id have no problem with).

I think JMM will pick him apart and cut him open like a surgeon.
