Chuck vs Tito 3 is hardley Penn vs GSP 3, since both Chuck and tito are old has beens, and Penn and GSP are the Kings of their weight divisions without anyone else to fight but each other.

GSP vs Penn three is a historic fight, especially since Penn has looked so good and is obviously training like a mad man and is serious and decicated.

This would be the absolute best, most confident and hungry Penn GSP has ever faced.

Penn never even showed up for the last fight either tbh.

Chcuk vs Tito is just a load of balls.

I could'nt give a **** about that fight but Penn vs GSP 3 is a more exciting prospect than the first two fights put together.

I wouldnt mind seeing Penn v Hughes just to see Penn beat Hughes with ease.

Considering the way Penn got his face smashed into the floor in they're last fight, I wouldn't say he beats Hughes with ease if I were you.

I think the size is too much to overcome TBH, just like last time but what a warrior Penn is, not content by being the best LW in MMA history, not even content to fight lesser WWs, he wants to go straight for the man who is currently the best WW & will no doubt end his career as the best ever WW, GSP.

    Gotta love Penn.

Exactly, thats why I rank BJ a touch higher than GSP p4p.

I agree, I think Penn would beat him right now.

I agree with you regarding BJ's tenacity and wiliness to fight anyone, but guys has everyone forgot their previous encounter, which was less than 11 months ago? It may be that BJ has improved further still, but GSP has hardly "Stood still" has he? He dominated Thiago Alves for ffs after his fight with BJ!! Like many, I would watch this fight, but why would it end in any other way than the second fight? One of the main reasons why GSP will not move up to 185 is because the dominant and great p4p fighter who is champion at that weight is simply too big!! And it may be that GSP would not be too keen to fight BJ again!! After all, he dominated BJ in their last fight to such an extent that BJ's corner pulled BJ out, so Georges has nothing to prove. Were GSP to win a 3rd fight in any fashion other than a ko, which is highly unlikely, then everyone will say "GSP is simply too big for BJ" but were BJ to pull off the win, GSP's legacy would undoubtedly take a hit! As for BJ, apart from the physical pain, which he would happily endure, a 3rd fight with GSP is a fight where he loses no credibility should he lose! In fact he would be lauded for "Stepping up" but, were BJ to win, he would then, in the consideration of most, become the #1 p4p in the world and would such a victory truly cement his claim as the greatest mma fighter ever. No wonder he wants it! I am a fan of both and I just hope BJ does not start constantly "Calling out" GSP.

:good I agree Bill. BJ, fully focused and at the top of his game, defeats a well past prime Hughes (who has yet to improve his stand-up!!) comfortably. In fact I would be astonished were Matt to pull off a victory!!!

You are right, Matt did win that fight, but BJ has improved his skills and far more importantly his attitude towards conditioning and fitness since then. And to be honest, Matt does not look like he has evolved since he was in his prime and no-one can deny that this great former champion is now "Past prime". I believe that BJ wins this fight comfortably.

:good Great point!!! If BJ wants another shot, having been defeated so comprehensively in his previous attempt, let him fight one of the top two contenders first. A BJ-Kos fight would be both competitive and entertaining and BJ has a good chance in that fight, though it would be no "Gimme" by any stretch of the imagination! As for BJ-Alves, stylistically Alves is the worst match-up at 170 for BJ and that includes GSP! I would consider Alves a heavy favourite in a fight with BJ.

I also have BJ one place above GSP for that very reason! Both are dominant at their weights but BJ is a two weight UFC world champion, which is something I do not envisage Georges, great fighter that he is, accomplishing any time soon. In fact we have not even seen GSP fight a 185 contender.

Matt Hughes is still a legit 170 lber and BJ is not. BJ obviously takes out anyone at LW, WW is a different story. Hughes's pace never slows down, and at WW the offense that guys are gonna push at BJ is different. BJ's cardio was fine in the GSP rematch, he simply had a different size man coming at him, not a LW. Don't get me wrong, BJ can probably beat a few WW's. Koscheck, Maybe Fitch, Johnson, Hardy, and perhaps a few others.

But not guys like GSP & Alves. Hughes is a question mark, but I'd go with him. I think Matt would bring his best (not handle BJ as easy as GSP did), they would have another classic, with Hughes upsetting alot of hardcore Penn fans again, and questioning BJ's gas tank like he did last time in the post fight interview with Rogan:lol:

:good Yeah, Chuck-vs-Tito is a pointless match-up and in unlikely event that Tito won, they could conceivably inflict a further two fights between these old warriors upon us!! Btw No disrespect mate, but I disagree with your comments regarding BJ's last fight with GSP. BJ was in shape and confident as ever. He simply got beat by a great fighter with a significant size advantage.

I like to see bj fight somebody legit first at 170. Like a koscheck or fitch to see if he has a chance this time against GSP. He got dominated last time so i like to see bj fight one of the top 170 lbs contender first then if he wins then get a fight with GSP.

 Yeah that post fight interview was a classic! Matt may pull off the win and as a fan of mma I wouldn't be heart-broken, but Matt is past prime and his stand-up has not evolved. Plus the fight would be over 3 rounds and let us not forget in the first fight BJ dropped a clearly overconfident Matt and gave Matt all sorts of trouble in the second, until he gassed! I'm not going to make excuses on BJ's behalf regarding his training for his second fight with Hughes because I do not know how he trained and as you rightly pointed out Matt did cause BJ to gas by setting and sustaining such a pace, but imo BJ does now defeat Matt. An interesting opponent for BJ would be Johnson!! A huge athletic powerful striker with reasonable wrestling who is susceptible to submissions. How do you envisage that fight going?
