Imagine being there in Vegas over the weekend of the fight. You get a great room, you gamble a little at the casinos. you go and watch the weigh in live, the atmosphere at the weigh in is electric! You have a night out checking out or checking in the women:yep

Then you and your mates wake up late, have a lovely brunch and then the anticipation starts at the MGM. You wanna be early even though the undercard sucks. People start filtering in, every major boxer and celebrity is there. The crowd builds as the undercard fights begin and end. Each one closer to the main event. You are sitting right behind Mike Tyson, he shakes your hand and you can see even he is excited. lampley, merchant, and manny are ringside calling the fights.

Then Buffer steps into the ring....Are you Ready to rumble?

This fight will be talked about for years and years. It might be one of the greatest fights ever and you were there.

Sounds great but too bad going to this fight isn't going to be a reality for 95% of us real boxing fans. I was really hoping for Dallas due to the fact that it can hold so many more people and I would've loved to be a part of history. Call me lame but I would rather be surrounded by real boxing fans than worrying about what celebrities are in the crowd. Just my opinion though.

I was in town for Pac-Cotto, for me it was the first time in Vegas. Originally I did not go there to see the fight, it was by accident, so I could not even buy tickets in time. I watched the fight from the Mirage on close-circuit broadcast but believe me, it was still amazing. After the fight the whole city was talking about what went down some minutes ago.

Vegas will explode when these two collide. But agree, I would have preferred a stadium.

I was expecting that it would be on dallas. It much more practical for me financially considering i'l be just an hour drive to venue plus tix will be more cheaper than vegas.

I experienced everything you described when I travelled over from the UK in May and then watched Hatton fight like a total novice and get starched in under 6 minutes!! At least the weigh-in was fun - loads of good-natured banter and singing between both stes of fans. I have to say, the filipino fans were class before and after the fight.
