According to Zabs facebook status 'Khan is next' What do you think about this matchup? Its a nice step up for Khan and it would be a great fight. I think Khan will take it. Im suprised he isnt taking on someone with no power like paulie though.
Judah brings problems for guys that aren't tough characters. Think of the guys that beat him: Mayweather, Tyszu, Baldomir, Clottey, Cotto... tough mother****ers all of them. He's dangerous enough for four rounds to land hard, fast shots from weird angles and knock chinnier guys out. I don't think Khan has the style, or the power, to knock Judah out fast like Tyszu did. I think it's a decent fight.
I think he should fight someone who actually means something in the division like Malignaggi, Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, Holt or Urango. A fight with Judah doesn't really get him anywhere at this point.
I wish Judah would **** off to be honest. Khan wins the fight, very easily, and Judah has had his chances, failed to take them and is now living off his name and amazingly over-rated reputation.
Khan would beat him, it wouldn't be GREAT on his resume, but he's better than most of the opponents Khan has fought... it would get some recognition over in the US, too.
Khan by wide UD or late stoppage. Although I would be nice to see them fighting on the Pac-Mayweather undercard.
When was the last time Khan got seriously caught? Your question should read "Do you think Judah can hit Khan cleanly enough to test his chin?" Freddie Roach has turned Khan into one of the best defensive fighters in the World at the moment.
I think it is the sensible option as Judah is finished as far as I'm concerned but would still be a big scalp. It's a low risk high reward fight. I think it would be wise to have a fight like this to get him more coverage in America and build towards a unification fight with Bradley at the end of the year. If they can both keep winning and beat decent opponents then the fight will become a bigger event. At this stage Khan doesn't have a big following in America and Bradley is far from a household name. But with a few more fights for each of them it could turn into a major event. If Khan does fight Judah next, I would like to see him fight Malignaggi next and if he comes through that the fight with Bradley would carry more meaning.
Theres been a noticeable change in Zab's tone over the last 6 months or so. He sounds like he's finally grown up and is going to concentrate on 140. I think it's a great fight.
