Long-Time UFC Sponsor Condom Depot Banned by Zuffa

    It appears that Condom Depot has been banned from both UFC and WEC by Zuffa

    From an e-mail advertisement signed as from Jennifer Amato

    Say what you will about how much you love/hate the advertisements for things like Condom Depot on your favorite fighter's shorts, but it does help pay their bills and allow them to continue training MMA full time.

    So what does everyone think? Is this going to be a part of a move to further reduce the number of "questionable" sponsors, or just another example of the pick and choose removal of various other sponsors and clothing lines over the past year?

    Dana White found out that Fedor bought some condoms from that store so he banned them.

    They almost went extinct years ago, but careful conversation efforts eventually led to their numbers multiplying by the thousands; now, they are a feral presence that some want to dwindle the numbers by again.

    I am suprised ZUFFA does not demand a cut from the MMA schools that are owned/operated by its fighters.

    Fighters much like most everyone else are afraid to stand-up to "the man" and I don't ever see a union being formed, Although I wish they'd do something. As far as what is on a fighters shorts. who cares why do you care what a fighter puts on his shorts? Maybe the fighter is gay and believes the best protection against AIDS are condoms so he wants to promote awareness and get paid for it at the same time. What is it to you? Plus all the sponsors are the ones that actually keep these fighters feed and able to actually BE PROFESSIONAL fighters not just part-time bums. Zuffa should be thankful not charging the sponsors or just outright banning them. Dana is just a straight up Greedy ******* and karma will come back his way someday.
