So why won't he take the tests? Can't be any harm whatsoever in it if he hasn't anything to hide....benefit of a clean bill of health is one up Mayweather.

taking supplements that are, at best, borderline illegal performance enhancing. I sometimes think they should all be able to take what they want then it's out in the open.

Why should Manny take extra drug tests for the Floyd fight?

Does this mean every fighter has to take these extra drug tests from now on?

Does this mean Floyd has no faith in boxing states (U.S) drug testing?

You're speaking as if he's never been drug tested though, and won't be for this fight either. I know we're all upset about the big fight not happening, but let's keep it in perspective.

"Now, I say to Floyd Mayweather Jr, don't be a coward and face me in the ring, mano-a-mano and shut your big, pretty mouth so we can show the world who is the true king of the ring."

I've never heard Mannythis pissed before. I assume Floyd's tactic of getting him wired to the point of being wild and ineffective is moot now as he's pissed him off so much the fight has effectively been called off.

And to those going on about the 'choice of gloves', wasn't it that they both wear whatever gloves they want. And surely if Manny had chose the gloves it'd be better for the fans to watch two fighters throwing shots with a pair of Reyes rather than a big set of pillows.

if you get pulled for drink driving and refuse to blow in the bag you are automatically assumed guilty and banned from driving

if he doesnt take the test people are going to assume he is guilty, so why doesnt he just take the test and prove is innosence

(witch ime sure he will when the time comes)

    Not a chance

I am a big fan of both fighters and would predict a Mayweather victory. But I just feel this whole situation makes Floyd look scared. Alot of people have questioned his choice of opponents in the past and his inability to fight the best. This just looks like another excuse to avoid a worthy challenger and really put his greatness to the test.

Floyd Sr accused him of taking steroids after the Cotto fight and Paulie Malignaggi has done the same. Hence the current situation.

Pac has taken tests just like any other fighter has. This fight is no different to any other and should follow the same rules as any other. If there is a problem with testing within the sport in general then it needs to be addressed and every fighter should have to do the same. But it shouldn't be used just for this fight.

Floyd didn't ask Marquez to do this so why should Pac.

Manny is pathetic with that sort of talk. Floyds not the one bailing out. Manny is bringing is character into question and rightly so.

I must be a nut job beacause I agree with Fleaman.

Pac has not refused to take any drugs tests. He has said no to addition tests at the request of team Mayweather. If adequate test are not currently in place then boxing as a whole needs to be looked at. Why single out this match up.
