Do think James Kirkland should fight at 160?

If issues making weight are the reasoning behind it, then there's not much of a choice for him. Can only deal with those for so long.

If weight's not an issue for him, I think he should stick around at 154. The division's wide open and his physicality would be a greater asset for him there.

 

I heard, or read, somewhere that Kirkland blew up pretty big in jail. Can anyone confirm or refute this rumour?

 

Kirkland will be a MW when he gets out.He was rumored to ne 190 months ago.

He ain't ever seeing 154 again.

 

Holy ****, it all makes sense now. He was starving before and got locked up on purpose for the food. He's going to come out looking like Hamed if he keeps that up.

 

Every jail and prison I know of feeds inmates mostly carbohydrates. Tons of pasta, potatos, bread, et.

 

Plus I bet Kirkland is hitting the weights more often than not.

So he''ll be big.

 

If the prison pounds stay on, at least we know who the next Great American Hope to beat Vitali is.

 

Good some action coming to 160. Would love to see him against Williams, Martinez, Sturm or Pavlik. While we're talking about people moving up Daniel Santos needs to as well.

 

Santos looked AWFUL against Foreman. Looked like he just came for the post-fight party! He might be all done.

 

With him having possibly bulked up hopefully it doesn't interfere with the fluidity of his punches (think Tyson pre and post prison) Too much muscle isn't good.

160 would be a hard hard road. There is alot of very skilled young talent. If he is still physically able then 154 would be a better choice
