Bush: Tarnation! There are WMDs in Iraq... UN: But there's no evidence. Ah well, do what you must... Blair: Tallyho! A War Invasion occurs and no WMDs are found... Bush: Woops... ummm... err we couldn't find them... But we beat the hell out of them ijits anyways... Floyd Mayweather Sr.: Pac must be using steroids.... Ah well, sorry for editorializing this a bit, but the logic simply isn't there. The premise that Pac must be on steroids because he's beating people (who you people claim to be shot wieght drained or bums) baffles me. I rarely post here.... but something is wrong here. Admittedly, Pac could very well clear his name by just taking the drug test, but the thing is, where was the evidence in the first place to implicate him? This trial by publicity thing has been done before.
This is a fallacy. The people claiming that Pac is on drugs now won't shut up if he takes a drug test. Look how many drugs test Lance Armstrong took during his career, but it didn't stop the innuendo and rumours.
Pac could pass the drug tests people will just assume that he stopped taking the drugs because of the tests or that he's on something that is undetectable
The truth is Floyd gets the same illogical hate and it basically boils down to just empty talking points for *******s and Floydettes. As said if Pacquiao takes the test and is clean people will assume he found a loophole and he's still a cheater (even if the the only proof that he's doing anything wrong is that he's fighting weight-drained shot bums). If it wasn't steroids it would be something else, and all of it is baseless and frankly boring. It isn't like anyone is talking about anything they really know anything about. People just read articles, jump on their preferred bandwagon and start blabbing forum non-sense because they don't have anything actually intelligent to say. :deal
The only illogical Floyd hate is when people call him a boring fighter. But most Floyd detractors point to his dubious selection of opponents in the Welterweight division and his disgraceful public persona. I've been a fan of Floyd('s boxing) for years, but I can recognize there's reasonable questions about him.
Damn good post. People will say he didn't take his "sugar" because he knows there is a more stringent test in place.
Sure there are plenty of reasonable questions about Floyd, there is no argument there. However, if you think on this forum there are not a multitude of threads talking all kinds of non-sense about Floyd then you haven't been paying attention. The fact is Floyd does have a lot of questionable stuff that hangs over him (mostly of his own doing) and that gets mixed in with all kinds of other ******ed threads that are just looking to pile on. Just look at the steroid threads for Pacquiao, no facts what so ever but people are piling on with all kinds of ******ation and endless polls that basically ask one question.. which bandwagon are you on?
