Regardless of whom your fav' boxer may be, one thing is for certain, it shouldn't cloud your thoughts on this topic. Whatever comes from all of this nonsense (whether it be a fight, lawsuit, or more) Manny Pacquiao and his image have been significantly damaged. That is not right, nor fair. Yeah, yeah, I know- life isn't fair. Continuing, just because a crack-head with an opinion opens his mouth after a fighter he trained was nearly decapitated doesn't make his comment legit. Let us not forget that this first came to light when Floyd Sr. AKA The Predator opened his mouth and said Packy was juicing. It slowly spread like a cancer in the mind of all boxing enthusiasts, and then like a wild-fire it encompassed every news network, boxing website, you name it is talking about this story. Hell, people that never even watch boxing are scrutinizing Pacman and his accomplishments. Thats ****ed up any way you slice it, ESPECIALLY if these allegations are not true.

For starters, with the allegations: If one man accuses another man of cheating, or any other misdeed for that matter (especially without a shred of evidence) the onus, or burden of proof, is on the ACCUSER (Floyd, and his supporters), and not the accused (Manny). If Joe Blow accuses me of stealing his TV, just on a hunch, am I supposed to happily and willingly invite him into my home for a thorough search just to accommodate his ego? If the roles were reversed and it had been Pacman who accused Floyd, Floyd and his supporters would have cried blasphemy. Didn't both these athletes have similar ascents up the weight-classes?
Secondly, for all those clamoring "good marketing, more attention is better, etc." what planet are you on? Good marketing for who? Definitely not for Pac-man. Since when did the whole world suspecting one of cheating "good" on any level? A lawsuit in this scenario is not only warranted and justified, but necessary. Based upon what I have read, heard, and seen, Manny has a VERY strong case. Am I a legal expert? No. However, I have an advanced degree and have taken at least two business law courses. So, technically, I'm not particularly uninformed either.
In closing, I just want to say that I think Floyd is getting what he wants. He smears Pacquiao's good name, dodges a risky fight, all the while forcing the fans and pundits to question who is at fault for negotiations breaking down. Now people can't say outright Floyd dodged, but that Floyd had a reason to because his opponent may have been dirty. A petty tactic from a petty group. Fraud wasn't so concerned with "fair, level-playing fields" back in September when he intentionally missed weight for his fight with the naturally smaller Marquez. Why now? Because he is a spineless con-man that has blinded legions of boxing fans. I actually hope he fights Matthew Hatton so all of his "fans" can see what a coward they have been supporting all along. What's sickening is when I read crap like I did on a scene about boxing, that "Floyd is right." Man, we are headed to hell in a hand basket I tell ya!

I prefer Pacquiao over Floyd and would love to see him win the fight. Yet still I see it as Pacman doing the ducking.

The arguments for him to take the test are much better than those against.

    For:
To shut Floyd up and prove your clean
    To make the fight happen!
Stricter control over use of banned substances will only make the sport fairer.

    Against:
    Scared of voodoo
    Floyd told him to

Seriously, he should just take the test. It's a seriously minor thing to do and not worth jeopordising one of the biggest fights ever over.

So many of you get hung up on where the allegation originated when in reality it doesn't matter. Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire hit more home runs in a single season than any human had ever before...people started to wonder. Marion Jones dominates womans track and field like never seen before...people started to wonder. Lance Armstrong dominates mens cycling like never seen before people start to wonder. Whether your guilty or not, unfairly or not, in this day and age when someone accomplishes something percieved humanly impossible, like improve your KO percentage in dominating fashion as you move up in weight after enduring previous wars at lower weights and have pasted the age of 30, there is going to be suspicion surrounding you. The one way to dispell the doubt and suspicion to to take every test in the book and come up clean a la Lance Armstrong. Who cares if the first person to vocalize their suspicion was a crackhead with a clear bias, the claim now has some justification to it because A) it would explain alot of unexplainable phenoma that surrounds Manny's success and B) Manny is making testing an issue. Just because Floyd Sr was the first to say something doesn't mean he was the only one thinking it. If Manny would have just accepted some sensible form of testing his legacy and reputation would have been intact and cemented. I'm not saying that Manny took PED's, I seriously thought Marion Jones was just fast, but sometimes when its too good to be true it is. And Manny has done nothing but make the situation worse.

If Mayweather Sr. is just a crackhead, then how could he convince so many that Pac is juicing and damage Pacquiao's rep? If you think this is all because of Mayweather Sr, you're off base.

The thing that hurt Pacquiao was his refusal to accept random blood testing. If he had just agreed to the tests, none of this would be happening. Now he looks guilty, and that is bad for the sport as a whole. He asked for his name to be tarnished by refusing a simple test.

The reality is it really won't be much of a fight. Floyd will give him a beating and a boxing lesson.....Pacquiao will fall late.:bbb

    Spot on

Through no fault of Pac's people are very skeptical about sportsmen who perform to freakish standards which isn't surprising when I look at the number of athletes I looked up to as a kid who are now known drug cheats.

Pac's response was all wrong and added fuel to the fire.

TS..I commend you 100% for your voice of reason.

Junior is a ****ing known DUCKER who'll go down in history not JUST as a DUCKER, but a ****ing conniving little ***** who didn't even have an ounce of decency to keep his envy and jealousy intact. NO ONE should be allowed to get away with this **** he and his family are pulling. Who the **** do they think they are? In one fell swoop they've managed to indent doubts in people's minds without understanding the grave injustice that they've created.

This is not fair to PAC, to us fans and boxing in general. Now I dare Junior and his ****ing TEAM to man up and be ****ing advocates of STRICTER DRUG TESTING by FILING A ****ING PETITION TO MAKE A CHANGE. If they don't do this, then it'll be even more obvious what their intentions have been all along.

Junior prove to the whole ****ing world that you're a NOBLE man. Do what's right and support your ****ing cause. FILE A ****ING PETITION!!!

I prefer Floyd to Pacquaio and always will and I support his decision fully,Drug Testing is key to any sport,I am actually of the belief that every PED should be made available as that is the only way you can control it,now the only person who has tarnished the Pacman brand is Pacman himself by refusing to the drug test himself,if he decided to take the drug test knowing he was clean and the results proved so and the fight went ahead and lost his reputation would still be intact or if he won the fight his reputation would be further enhanced, the only way i can see this fight happening is for Floyd to back down on his demands and give into Manny and let the fight go ahead, now if he wins it will be fantastic but win or lose unless he does the drug tests there will always be doubts about whether he was a cheat or not.

Olympians do it all the time and gain no advantage and i dont believe FMJ will gain an advantage over Pacman,so just get on with it Manny unless of course there is something he is hiding.....
