    I think Painter might take him you know.

    Even if he doesn't, he'll win at least two sets IMO. This new 'old Taylor' style doesn't suit Barny at all, barely averaging over 90. If Painter gets it right he can beat anyone.

    Barney is such a twat. Why does he tweak his darts, stems, flights all the ****ing time? Why not use the standard darts he always used that got him a 100+ average regularly? No wonder he mind ****s himself, just stick to what works...

    He started tweaking **** because he wasn't reaching Taylor's heights. Maybe he should just accept Taylor is outrageous, and he needs Taylor on a bad night to win. At the moment he has absolutely no chance because he's not even getting a 100 average like he did with his old darts.

    But he won his most recent world title with different darts to the ones that he used for ages in the BDO(I think!).I think it's bull**** though but alot of players have different darts over time.I think they work with scientists or some **** though to see what suits their grip etc etc.Phil Taylor's darts have changed an awful lot for example

    Yeah, but when Taylor was going through his bad patch he changed his darts around and now he is playing better than ever - Barney is probably just trying to emulate what Taylor has done.

    But he never got close to emulating himself nevermind Taylor with the new darts. It was worth a go but he should concede defeat and somebody ought to just talk some sense to him and tell him to go back to his old darts. At least with them he was behind Taylor but ahead of the rest.

    He averaged 89 tonight, he won because Painter had a nightmare rather than a great performance by Barney. All his darts were going in at a dreadful angle that doesn't suit Barney's game, he was better when they were going in straight and he was way too high and low in the 20 bed to get a good marker.

    I remember when Steve Beaton won the BDO years ago...... how the hell he got two darts in the 60 with those barrels I'll never know.
