Apparently, it's on the place where they talk about boxing.

I guess It's an "okay" opponent with less then 2 weeks notice.

    my post about this earlier
The likely candidate is Universums Eduard Gutknecht (18-0, 7 kos), although an easy fight for Stieglitzs; Universum would not want to throw in one of their own if they have too

    Rankings (WBO)
    1. Arthur Abraham (in the Super 6 so we can rule him out)
    2. Eduard Gutknecht
    3. Allan Green (unlikely to travel at short notice, but would be just as good as Miranda, could win)
    4. Paul Smith (fighting in March against Tony Dodson)
    5. Edison Miranda (out)
    6. Mikkel Kessler (Super 6)
    7. Jean Paul Mendy (could easily travel, would be easy for Stieglitz)
    8. Kariz Kariuki (WHO?!?!, some banger from New Zealand has an appaling record a disgrace if he's 'ranked)
    9. Stas Kashtanov (good Ukranian prospect, high risk, low reward)
    10. Andre Dirrell (super 6)
    11. Curtis Stevens (got a fight against Jesse Brinkly)
    12. Denis Inkin (I thought he retired after Balzsay beat him)
    13. Karoly Balzsay (already KOd by Stieglitz)
    14. Sakio Bika (dangerous, avoided like the plague and could win, will fight anywhere)
    15. Sebastian Demers (could be lured to fight, padded record, no problem)

so we could se a BUTE -Steglitz unification later this year, that would be great if the fight would take place in Europe.

Bute has no intention of fighting in Germany and HBO most likely wouldn't pick up the fight in America either.

So I doubt it will happen. That's why everyone was hoping Miranda would win.

    Decent opponent.

But Ravelo will get his Glasss Jaw shattered again.I sound like Rico.

Anyway Ravelo never turned out to be what he was suppose to be.

No top15 fighter would be "easy" for Stieglitz. Maybe this guy named Kariuki, never heard of him. I only saw Mendy at Showbox/Showtime some years ago and I'm sure this version of Mendy would beat Stieglitz. After years of inactivity and fighting on two weeks' notice the result might be different though.

I don't criticize that they will replace Miranda with a "bum". You can't expect a top opponent on two weeks' notice. The problem is that this fight will be for a "world title".

Also Khoren Gevor would like to take that fight.
Hes ready too will and be on that card anyway..
Gevor and Stieglitz are both very decent warrior and personally i would love to see that bout happen.
