DAVID HAYE has been told to put off fighting rival world heavyweight champ Vitali Klitschko. British title-holder Danny Williams was crushed in eight painful rounds by the giant Ukrainian in 2004. He said: "The longer the fight doesn't take place is going to be in Haye's favour. "Vitali is showing signs he might be starting to decline, so David should leave it as long as possible." WBA champion Haye, 29, has vowed to knock out WBC belt-holder Vitali, 38. source: The Sun
That might be the way Danny Williams would do it but its not very gutsy is it? Lets hope Haye appreciates the longer he leaves it, the more critisizm he will get.
I genuinely believe Haye would fight him next week if he could. He is already old, slow and past it and has been for some time. This has always been the easier of the two brothers for Haye it's just that all of a sudden a lot of others agree
The style that Vit uses these days doesn't seem the type where a fighter would just lose the ability to employ it overnight. Theres no great movement, no blinding reflexes.
there was little chance of Khan getting a shot at Marquez even if Warren wasnt going to put Khan in with him, lets be honest moving up in weight instead of waiting is more impatient than cowardly isnt it.
Lets be even more honest, Khan isn't really a world champion is he? He's a plastic claiment. About as plastic as you can get.
British fighters beat enough shot fighters. Haye should take him now - if he wins he gets great credit, if he loses he will get credit as a gallant small man.
I believe in Haye, the guy is old-school in his approach and would fight anyone I believe to further his career. Whether he'd beat Vitali though is unclear to me......
