Has anybody got some good tips on how to throw a good left hook? Left hook to the body or head? I seem to throw my jab pretty well, probably my best weapon, the right hands ok, but can't seem to get much power in the left hook and would love to follow some of my punches with a big left hook. Any tips please share!!!

Rotate your left foot, hip and shoulder to the side, notice that your arm moves with it, this is where the power comes from. Slightly lower your forearm so your arm forms a 90 degree or 'L' shape and at the same time raise your elbow horizontally (upwards and backwards at the same time).

That's the way I throw it, always comes out vertical (thumb up), with the wrist slightly turned like it is when you're in guard. (If its straight, I end up hitting with my fingers rather then the Knuckles).
